 Uniter Chooses Škoda For Fleet Hire

As it took delivery of 10 Škoda Octavias this week to replace existing fleet stock, Essex-based technical support solutions company Uniter Group, cited professional, reliable and economical attributes as reasons for choosing the model.

Volkswagen Group Leasing handled the financing for the contract hire package while approved Škoda dealer Darlington’s of Harrow supplied the vehicles.  As part of its deal, Uniter will enjoy many upgraded extras as standard including fully-comprehensive warranty cover, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors and height and reach adjustable four spoke steering wheel.

Commenting on the deal, Peter Buttress, financial director at Uniter, said: “Our national fleet of engineers spend a great deal of time travelling from contract to contract so they need company cars that are reliable, fuel-efficient and client-facing"

“As a company we continually strive to reduce our carbon footprint, so we need vehicles with low CO2 emissions. Load carrying capacity is also a major factor of importance as is cost and the Octavia meets all these requirements making it the best all-round performer"

Rob Morris, fleet sales manager for Škoda in London and the South East, said: “Uniter has made an educated choice on its fleet hire with the Octavia – one of the most economical, spacious and aesthetically pleasing family cars on the market.
